WolfTreks Travel: Cruise the Waterways of France | May 19–30

Join us for an unforgettable 12-day journey along three rivers of France—the Rhône, Saône and Seine—aboard two exclusively chartered Amadeus river ships for a unique perspective on over 2,000 years of history, culture and architecture. Highlights include Burgundy, Provence, Normandy and the TGV high-speed train from Mâcon to Paris. This exclusively designed itinerary features up to ten UNESCO World Heritage sites and includes a full-day excursion to the historic D-Day beaches of Normandy, including the American Military Cemetery and the legendary Bayeux Tapestry. Visit Provençal Arles, where traces of ancient Rome still stand; see the café on lively Boulevard des Lices, immortalized in Vincent van Gogh’s Café Terrace at Night. Visit the famous Pont du Gard and a Beaujolais vineyard for a private wine-tasting. In Paris, enjoy a panoramic tour of the “City of Light” and its grand architecture along the spectacular River Seine. Visit Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny, and enjoy a specially arranged visit to the Musée d’Art Américain. Marseille Pre-Cruise and Mont-St-Michel/St. Malo/Chartres Post-Cruise options are available.
